Need Fister to have a huge game. I think Nova has been the best pitcher of the series so it is going to be tough.

Should be a good one tonight. Was really hoping Porcello could take the Yanks down last night.
:-) :-)

Yes it is, and I'm glad for that. Mo needs some rest after throwing 3 pitches back in Game One, and I want him ready if the chance comes to slam the door.

Hopefully the Tigers will be far enough ahead that he won't be needed.

I keep thinking if I was Jim Leyland if I would keep Verlander out of the game tomorrow. It is do or die tomorrow why not use him if you need to in relief.

:-) Go Tigers! Next up, the Texas Rangers.
Good series with the Yankees. Took it right to the end.
Congrats to Fister, Sherzer, Benoit, and Valverde (52/52).

Actually you're right Tom. Especially now, you might even want to closed that 2011 Yankee thread.
:-)
Honestly it was a great series. I was on the edge of my seat all night. Tons of fun to watch.

Blackhawks weren't playing, Game 5 all the way!
What a great game...Girardi's revolving bullpen almost worked. Great pitching by the Tigers, Valverde getting the Big 3 in the 9th was clutch.

Hope Delman's oblique strain isn't serious, and hope that Avila gets hot, and someone shows Jackson how to hold a bat.
