I can't believe they spend almost 1/2 a billion on 3 guys and still you NY taxpayers are being asked for more to finance the stadium.....Unreal, the cubans I bought have started to get Plume faster than you have made the playoffs and now you go into full panic mode because the much better run team (That would be the Red Sox :-)) has won 2 world series while all you did was ship a great manager to the West Coast.....

No worries, if $423 Mill doesn't do it this year spend a Billion next year and wait for the bailout.......

Too early to get worked up about baseball. Your Cubans will have grandkids that have plume before the suck ass Red Sox EVER win as many World Series as the Yankees. The glory of the last 2 will eventually fade and you will be back to your 80 year misery like your forefathers.

The Yankees are well on their way to an 80 year championship misery. When was the last time they won the series again? Please remind me. :-) Blah, blah Yanks have 26 championships . . . blah blah. Stop living in the past Yankees fans!

Also, the fact that the Patriots are in playoff contention shows what a GREAT team they are. There are only 2 or 3 other teams in the NFL that have fielded more starters this year than the Pats. They've lost their entire starting offensive backfield and have started games with less than half of their starters on defense plus several backups on offense and defense have been lost. To have overcome that many injuries shows what a superior job the Pats have done this year.
