With OJ in jail, who's gonna comb the golf courses looking for Nicole's killer :-)

He is treated like a king in jail, many of the scumbags love the guy, it will be rather easy time for him.

I believe in our justice system, and he did get aquited for his first case; this ain't the 30's when jurors were all bribed. But, he got what he deserved for robbing someone, and not allowing them to leave freely. 15 years for that is hard, but Nevada is pretty strick on these.

It's sad but I think I agree.

pretty good bet, :-)

The first 8 counts are concurrent, with a max term of 15 and parole eligibility after five. Count 9 is conseutive to count 8, so assumming he gets parole after 5, tack on another 18 months for count 8 before he's eligible for parole on that count, and count 10 is consecutive to count 9, so tack on another 18 months again.

If my math is right and I heard her correctly, he has to do 8 years minimum before he hits the streets.

Nice guess Dave!

That was how I had it added also Vic. The consecutives were the nail in his coffin, plus the fact that most people don't make parole their first time up (especially for a violent crime). I see him doing 10 years.

It's like a make-up call in a football or BB game. Not sure how I feel about it in the Justice system but.. feels like some kind of justice.

This is true. But the evidence in the murder case points to him and only him. I was hoping he would get at least a 30 year sentence that way he would at least serve 10.

Looks like this works out to a 7.5 to 20 year beef -- the max is based on him serving out his entire sentence in prison and getting the mandatory good time credits. (If he has disciplinary problems the credits can be rescinded.) If he gets credit for working he'll get a couple more years off the max.

Long enough for a hotel room caper. Not long enough for two murders.

The guy has no taste, smoking or not.
He murdered two people then was so arrogant he thought he could get away with another crime. I hope he rots in jail.

don't get me wrong Tom, I think he is a prick for what he has done anyway and he got what he deserved (or maybe even too less).

Gotcha. It is just sad when someone you looked up to as a kid (O.J.) turns out to be such a waste of air.

yeah, the guy had it all, a great career in sport, fame, played in some movies, money and he ends up living and probably dying in jail.
