This is awful news. I was fortunate to have been able to meet, and smoke with Mike.
It wasn't the longest herf I've ever been to, but it truly was one of the most fun.

RIP Volt.

Terrible news. I never had the pleasure of meeting Mike in person but always enjoyed our interactions here and on CS. Another good guy gone too soon.

This is sad news. 55 is way too young.:-)

I remember bombing him on the Choo Choo Bomb. Fun times.

You will be missed my friend. Rest in peace.

Prayers sent for his loved ones.

I am saddened to hear this. I never met Mike either but was in some of the old banter threads with him back in the day. Godspeed Volt.

Very sad, I remember one time visiting a friend in va beach for the weekend, got away for the afternoon to head to NN but it was last minute and I hadn't packed any smokes. Mike gave me a fiver and refused to take any cash, even better he wasn't getting there until later in the day so he sent the smokes along with one of the other guys, by the time he showed up I was already on his third cigar :-)

Truly will be missed, didn't get to herf with him too many times but we had very similar tastes so whenever we did meet up in a big group we always made time to talk. Nothing but the best of brothers

Thanks for posting the bomb link Mac, those were the days

I'm so sad to hear this. Mike was one of the guys that made me feel welcome at Club Stogie when I first joined.
