Still here.
spectrrr 05:27 AM 01-02-2013
they have any idea whats up?
emopunker2004 05:44 AM 01-02-2013
She hasn't even seen a dr yet. Nurses did EKG, took urine, and took blood. She's hooked up to monitors for bp and pulse right now. It's taking readings every 15min. More Drs supposed to have come in at 630 so hopefully this show will get on the road soon.

ahhh, triage at its finest...
"ehh, you're not dying, look pretty stable... sit here for a bit, we'll be back in an hour or two"

Don't ever mention "triage" to my wife.
Took her mother to ER, was triaged as not urgent and made to sit in ER for about an hour. About an hour and a half later (2.5 since arriving), she had expired from heart failure.

Good luck.
I had a BP scare about six weeks ago. Was up to 175/120, for three days.
Was clearly concerned but not urgent care as have been on BP Meds for a few years now.

Yeh well my wife is 26 but in good physical shape so it's just really strange.
spectrrr 09:46 AM 01-02-2013
OUCH, yeah, I can see how triage would be a very painful word there...
emopunker2004 10:44 AM 01-02-2013
Came home with some BP meds and told her to follow up with her DR

What do you consider reasonable? I may know of one if your and his idea of reasonable are close.

I was willing to pony up $2k.
Depends heavily on the model, This particular model was the Socom II, although I'm not against the classic wood stocks either.
:-)
Two months ago on gunbroker, a $1500 gun. These days, closer to $2500. I figured $2k was fairly reasonable.

funny thing is, I was planning these purchases spread out over the next few months
"as the deals came along" since BEFORE December... bad timing!

That Springfield M1A is one awesome impressive rifle.
I am going nuts waiting for UPS to update their site with my AR10 info.

He sold his last one about 2 weeks ago. If he sees another he will let me know.

I love the AR10 too... I had just decided on an M1A. But at this point, I'd be quite happy with an AR10 as well.. although the M1a does have the advantage of not looking so "tactical" to the casual observer.
FUNNY THING, I was looking at an AR10 the first week of December and decided to wait.

Interesting looking at the (few) pistols that most websites still have in stock. The overall trend I see is .40 cal is still in stock. I can easily find Glock .40's of all varieties in stock, but most 9mm is sold out, even most 45 is sold out. Even 10mm and .357 sig is sold out! but .40 cal is still available!?
:-) ... pretty much the same story in the XD/XDM and M&P lines. Seems .40 is a tad less popular than I thought...
(bear in mind that the "nice" models of .40s like the one Carlos posted are still sold out in most places... but in something like 9mm, even the crappy models are 95% sold out across the board)
