Those of you that tried it, how would you compare it to Makers Mark? I use MM as my standard in bourbon. Kind of like a fund out performing the DJI. :-)

Gerard, were you able to get your hands on some Hardywood Mocha Belgique when it was out a couple months ago? Don't know if it was comparable to the Cocoa Mole, but I thought the Hardywood was only so-so.

Had a number of good wines this evening but the highlight for me was a martini with a gin I had never had before. Keith (BigAsh) gave me a heads up about Death's Door gin. It is a small distillery in Madison WI that makes a gin, vodka, and white whisky. The gin is quite good. I would certainly buy it again and plan to keep it in my rotation. I also plan on trying the white whisky soon.
