Huh? Stubbs is upping his trade value by the second, the Reds are winning, like they should be. :-)

Harper's stats:

Frazier has Harper beat in average, HRs, obp, ops, slugging, and has 80 less at bats. I'm not saying Frazier deserves ROY, especially since he's not been an everyday starter like Harper until Votto went down, but he's putting up a fight. I'm happy that at least one of our rookies is doing something this year.

I knew he had better numbers than Harper, but hype helps drive the machine. He has the numbers, but like you said, not being an everyday player (although he should be) is going to hurt him. :-)

If Rolen hadn't had been on the DL through most of the first half, and had Votto not been out now, Frazier would still be an unknown. Injuries have brought a lot of luck to this guy.:-)

What upsets me the most right now near the deadline is that we're playing great right now, so our shortcomings are being overlooked. Stubbs is all of a sudden forgiven now b/c he won two games against the worst team in the Bigs? Cleanup and leadoff no longer a priority? Give me a break. Once the deadline has passed, I'm sure Stubbs will go back to being Stubbs.

Exactly, you can't tell me there aren't holes on this team that are going to be exposed by better teams. All of a sudden the OF is set because Stubbs is batting .230, leadoff hitter is fixed because they brought the OBP back above .250? :-)

He probably could/should play 3B everyday, but Rolen is the veteran, big money, guy. Its funny that they force players into some positions and let others sit the bench despite playing better baseball than the incumbent. :-)

Big contract guys get the longest leash. Unfortuanate in most situations.

Bruce's first hit of the series 6-2 Reds! Ready to see Marty get his head shaved!

There are a lot better ones out there, even a bald marty bobblehead. Check Jim Day's and Lance McAclister's twitter feed from yesterday.
