I officially hate Flickr, what am I doing wrong that is preventing me from directly linking to my photos?

OK, here's what you do:
1. Click on the individual pic that you want to post
2. You come to this:

Click on the box with the arrow icon
You come to this screen:

Click on the little thumbtack icon and you get to this:

Just cut and paste the link text to the BB.

They changed something over the past month or less, that has me also unable to do it. You are not crazy.
it used to work. When they began the changes, I deleted a long-standing account in protest. But I remembered
about 6 months ago that they don't give a 5hi+, so my protest was useless and I wanted to be on Flickr again.
Then they changed things so completely now that I am back to thinking I am wasting my time at that site.
I doubt 10% of their users like the new look and functionality, but they plow on.
So it's the thumbtack now and not the link. Colonel Mustard, in the Drawing Room with the Thumbtack.

Ron, I just look at manual exposure the way you likely would. I sit down in the chair I use by the window where I shoot
the birds and stuff, I look at the general conditions, set my ISO about where I think it will want to be, then set my aperture
to give me a little room for errors in focusing, then pick a shutter speed and fire off a shot. My mental idea of what it SHOULD
be set up like is usually a half a stop off up or down. I either bump the ISO or see if I have any shutter speed left to bleed off.
It is a LOT more intuitive than you'd imagine. Especially since we are not shooting film. The focus ain't so bad either. The LCD
gets me right where I need to be on the setup.
Have a good time at the beach!

OK, this is a pretty cool place for me to share as a photo. This is the old Supreme court building in New Orleans, or a doorway of it anyway.
When I was a boy, this building also housed the LA Wildlife and Fisheries Museum, which was unbelievable for a kid. We would take field trips
here often, and the place was PACKED with stuffed wildlife in dioramas. Bears, coyotes, raccoons, snakes and snakes and snakes....
a couple of really nice aquariums as well. I know there was other stuff in there, natural history and geology and stuff, but there
is no competition for a young LA boy. This is another of those breaking dawn shots I get when the sun starts to bounce rays up
and over the horizon, and wherever I am in the Quarter at the time ends up getting the good light. Although we are fairly advanced
in that time here.......Snap Snap.

Damn Justin, i was just there this past Thursday! Beautiful day it was for beach walking and photo shooting. I missed that museum, though, but I did get some shots of the main lobby area of the Flagler College. I have to wait until I get home to post anything since the hotel seems to have the card reader slots on the PC shut off...

The weather officially sucked while I was down south! It was nice when I arrived, but it was already later in the day. Tuesday: all day downpour. Wednesday: clear, but pretty chilly with a steady 25 MPH wind. Thursday in Saint Augustine was perfect. Friday: ANOTHER all day downpour. Saturday: Cool, drizzly, and miserable all freaking day. Sunday: Better, not perfect but after the previous days it was fine. Monday (OF COURSE when I had to leave) SUNNY and WARM!!
:-) Whatever pics I managed to get will follow shortly.
