WOW. Grain a salt here. I don't think anyone meant harm from it. You are the first to be told that and I am sure you won't be the last.

If they have worked for 37 years, then by all means, keep going. "Don't fix it if it ain't broke, right?

Looking at the join date Eddie, Maybe you don't know the 'attitude' of some of the guys here yet? It is hard to read some one in 2 months over the intraweb.

Anyhow, I was just helping out. Everyone, Enjoy add those humis are looking great!

No problems. And your right.

:-)

Too true and to prove your point, I've been on the web since just before its existence when we were hacking baud modems into Coleco's to chat with our wives who were at home when we were on the road. Of course back in those days the last thing you wanted to do was make a long distance phone call from a hotel.

You did. :-)

Hey Eddie, how are those Black Market cigars? I had a couple in my hands yesterday, but decided not to pull the trigger.

There not bad, I've smoked a dozen of them and so far I like the Torpedo the best. Pretty creamy smoke with some spice. But I still don't think they're good enough to be box worthy tho. And I think they're overpriced. just my .02¢

But I like to keep some on hand for "those days". :-)

I've been meaning to post pics of a really nice humidor I won in a raffle drawing last fall and I've finally gotten around to it. My wife and I attended a cigar event at Sidtrack Tobacco ( Home Page or Event Page ) in Bristol, VA. Everything about it was great; the BBQ, the live music, the cool weather, the excellent people! The family that owns and runs this shop have always been great to us. And of course winning this humidor in a raffle was a nice cap to the evening.

I hadn't smoked a Buena Vista cigar before the event but the two I smoked that night were pleasant enough. I was told this humidor was a bit expensive and maybe a limited edition but I haven't found anything online about it. There is a badge mounted inside the lid that says "083 200" so I suppose that's the number of the humidor, 83 of 200. Anyone seen one of these before? I rough-guess it to be about a 75 count since one section (movable dividers, not fixed in place) holds a full 25 count box of those 5 Vegas classic coronas. Anyway, on with the pics.

Lol, no way. I'm in a minimal-stock phase, it'll pass. I've been on the road 8 weeks of the last 10 so I haven't been home to tend to my babies. One more week on the road and I'll be home for a while. :-)
