Combat Comm? I was in a GTACS unit there for a spell. we convoyed everywhere. had our own comm guys, IDMT's, and of course ground controllers mostly. of course there were the V.M. guys or as I like to call them the functioning alcoholics.
BTW: this image immediately reminded me of those times as well.

No, it was USAFE CSS. But I was in Combat Comm twice, 3CCGP from '89-'94 and 1CBCS from '94-'96, in ATC Radar Maintenance.
