Hennessy VS. It's on the low end of the cognac spectrum, but you have to start somewhere.

Tonight i just finished a Rouge St. Rouge Red Ale and all i have to say is wow. everything from the light moca color head to beautiful red color this beer was amazing. The lace stayed on the glass from the top all the way to the bottom. Right now i am working on a glass of Rouge Mocha Porter. I had a friend pick these out for me and i wasnt too keen on the name but this beer isnt exactly coffee flavored. Upon initial sipping it tastes of caramel but the finish has a very pleasant coffee note. I would drink both these wonderful beers again any day

Tonight, my girlfriend & I had a bottle of Lucien Albrecht Cremant d'Alsace Brut Rose, followed by a Mionetto Brut Prosecco with steak.
I've been on a Rose kick lately, but I prefer the standard Lucien Albrecht Brut ($20) over the Lucien Albrecht Brut Rose ($25). For Roses, the Mumm Napa Rose ($20) & Gloria Ferrer Blanc de Noirs ($16) are a better value in my opinion.
At the moment, the Vintage Roses are out of my price range, but every so often I can indulge in one.
