Saw it last night James, thought it was excellent mindless fun with some real cringe worthy kills, way to go for realism as it takes him slamming the the hilt of the sword 3 times to finally get it through a skull :-)

It's a relatively cheap movie to produce, had a pretty good cult following, Reeves is the in actor right now, and they make a ton of cash, I look forward to the next one.

Yeah, they set it up quite well for the next one. My wife and I adore dogs so the fight sequences with Halle Berry and the Belgian Malamois were just awesome.

Watched Rope on Criterion. Fantastic movie. I think Jimmy Stewart said this was one of his worst performances, I completely disagree.

Green Room. I only heard about this because Patrick Stewart is in it as the leader of a bunch of neo-Nazis. Yes, you read that correctly. :-) It's a nasty little thriller that I quite enjoyed. For some reason it's billed as a horror movie, but it's really not.

Without spoiling anything it's about a punk band stuck performing for a bunch of skinheads who get in over their heads when one of them sees something they shouldn't. I recommend it.
