Watched the finale again last night with a friend who hadn't seen it. I kept having to leave the room because I knew what was coming and didn't want to give it away. Still uber-pleased with it.

Is this the polite equivalent of an itchy butt?

Just re-watched the 2nd half of the finale. I thought this season was a letdown compared to the first two, but this finale is a work of art. So worth the pains of some of the child search and plot twists.
It is great to re-watch and look for clues of the setup. One big one is after Jax gets screwed by Stahl he jumps on the bike with a big grin.
Really amazing work by Sutter on this. I put that last half hour up with the end of the Godfather movies in terms of greatness.

1 and 2.
I realize the difference between a 3 hour movie and a full season TV show, but the ending was greatness.

I agree, but if you said godfather 3....I would've been like...eh I could've down without that one.
It was definitely the ending I've been DYING to see. I really didn't have high hopes but if one thing is for sure...the ending was AWESOME on levels I haven't seen from the show in a good bit.

It's worth a watch, Bill. Andy Garcia has some anger moments.
