Excellent flavor, balance and body...way over carbonated. Stirred with a straw to de-carbonate, whipped up a nice head and improved the beer significantly.
What I would do for some Pumking!

I picked up two bottles of Goose Island 312 earlier in the week and drank them tonight. Agree it's mediocre, not bad but nothing special to buy again.

Fatty Boomablatty. I had never heard of this one, a great guy and my beer mentor gave this one and many others to me at a herf last month left it for me. I just got to it and it is really refreshing and drinkable.

THAT will be awesome. I find that pumpkin beers almost always benefit from a year of age. I have some St. Arnold's Devine Reserve 9 from last fall. It is an Imperial Pumpkin Stout. The spice was way overwhelmed last fall in this brew. i cracked on last night and it is damn good.
Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin is still my favorite by a long shot.

That knowledge comes from my intership with the Dali Lama. "Gunga galunga, gunga -- gunga galunga", he said.
