Don't waste your time on the 312. It's a medocre American wheat.

Grain Belt Premium. Those bastards in the twin cities still can get Nordeast I believe. Someone recommended it to me after it was impossible to find around here.

I bought a 6'er of Nordeast a while back. I thought Premium is better. You aren't missing much IMO. And I'm saying this as a solid Schell's fan. Nordeast just didn't do much for me.

Thanks for the quickie review, bud. Maybe it's just over-hyped around here.

Goose Island Honkers Ale is good stuff. Might have a slight bitter aftertaste, but the hops/malt balance was good and not too strong on the hops. Not a heavy beer either.
Picked up the Harvest Ale a few days back but haven't tried it yet.

I bought a 750ml bottle of Duvel this afternoon, and am drinking it now. Really lovely. I had Duvel once before and didn't think much of it. Maybe I had a bad bottle then, but I'm sure enjoying this now.

Southern Tier Cuvee Series II (Oak Aged)
Very nice. Not sure I ever would have tried this at the full price of 13, but got it at 50% off.

One of the very few beers on my list that I did not like. At all.

Had a nice, albeit short run of Shiner Bock. Now back to the Sam Adams Octoberfest.

Went out for lunch w/ the Mrs., to Famous Dave's. $2 tap pints of Bell's Two Hearted Ale. Now there's a good deal.

Lagunitas Maximus IPA
Oak Aged YETI - this stuff fresh on tap is a touch brutal, but in the 22oz. bomber I had today, aged for a few months was nice and smooth.

I'm drinking a Deschutes Black Butte porter. The local shop has them on sale for $2.49 per bomber.
