I like your style Lumpy. I see we share the same attitude towards B-Movie Horror! :-)

I watched Hoursemen. I know there are a few with that title. This was the one with the Detective chasing a serial killer.

Is this the one with Dennis Quaid?

I saw The Asylum's 'Megashark vs. Giant Octopus' and 'Transmorphers' recently too... SyFy shows them, they obviously don't cost much... Hell, Transmorphers is such a thinly veiled Transformers rip-off it's untrue... but I still loved it!

Chingas, you ever seen 'Death Machine'?

Busy day for me lol

Yes. Dennis Quaid!

Death Machine. I most certainly did! Probably when it came out. That was forever ago. I remember loving it.

Death Machine is one of my favourite movies ever. Brad Dourif is outstanding.

It's not strictly bad in a b-movie sense, but if you haven't seen 'The Terror' with Boris Karloff and Jack Nicholson, you should. Ol' Jack is supposedly in Napoleon's army. Best French accent you ever heard.

Sherrybaby.

Not sure how I got roped into this one, but the wife wanted to watch it. Too depressing & uncomfortable for my taste, although I'm sure it reflects the life of many folks. Maggie Gyllenhaall does an awesome job as the lead character and is practically naked through much of the movie, so it has that.

I really enjoyed The Town. One of the best movies I've seen in a long time. The only thing that was weird was that if you looked away while Ben Affleck was talking, you would swear it was Adam Sandler playing the part!

Really? How was it unrealistic? I thought it was a great movie, Best Picture and Best Director were well deserved. Of course I've never served in the military so my idea of realistic may be way off base...

Where to begin...

#1: That two NCOs and a SPC would answer to noone while in combat. No mention or visual Chain of Command at all.

#2: That a SGT would just up and smack a SFC in the face.

#3: Alcohol all over the place...in the OPEN. While I know there is liquor in country, it is hidden very well. Not just left out in the open for others to see.

#4: That he carries around an iridium phone at will.

Could go on and on...but then again, just my :-)

The Karate Kid (the new one)

Made it through half of the Mystery Men. Don't you hate it when a movie doesn't live up to how you remembered it when you first saw it?

Evil Dead.

The hurt locker was a turd. Miserable borefest, plot went nowhere. There was like ONE good scene.

:-) I remember seeing that in theaters.....never saw it again though.

Interesting, like I said, none of this I would be aware of since I've never served in the military. :-)
