Can anyone besides Votto hit on this team? The guy has no protection, empty bases and no pitches to hit.

Just be glad that the Reds missed Strausburg in the rotation. Their 1-5 are all tough, much tougher than the Reds. Leake going tomorrow for the sweep.

Looks like he single-handedly won that game for them today. Responsible for 7 of their 9 runs. It would be nice if someone besides Votto would come to play everyday.

Cueto, Chapman and Andrusek don't play everyday, but they are all probably All-Stars.
:-)
Bruce and Hannigan have been playing well too.
:-)
If Votto had a bad day yesterday, they get run off the field. Votto single handedly won the game with very minimal help from the rest of the team. The Reds were out-played, but Votto found a way to save the game.

Agreed on all counts. Joey is definitely the MVP. That is also why the Reds locked him up long term.

He is the Reds MVP and he has to be for them to be competitive. Its too bad that his numbers started out a little slow, Kemp's hot start probably makes him the NL MVP if they continue at similar paces throughout the season.

I agree. Sorry I meant that he is definitely the Reds MVP. I didn't mean all of the NL, though he could be again.
