I really hate that when Liverpool is playing weaker teams and they park it in from of the goal for 90 mins that Liverpool can only manage to get a draw, while Chelsea and man u will eventually score a goal and take all 3 points.

I don't, ok, I hate it when Chelski takes 3 points, but I love it when Man U wins.

DF, Surely you remember Van Gaal's Ajax side of the middle 90s? They could break down any 11 man bunker put up in front of them. They would patiently stroke the ball outside to middle to out to mid to out to mid.... about 25-35 yards out. As soon as the defense was sufficiently hypnotized they made an incision and scored, seemingly at will.

I miss that team

I miss that team too. Ajax is my team, had a season ticket for years and years, followed them everywhere, even into Eastern Europe. I was there when they beat Milan in the Champions League final, may 24 1995, will never forget that day. I cried, tears of joy, after the final whistle.

I cursed Kluivert's toes that day :-) Good for you man, I wish I could have been there as well, those were 2 great teams! I was sad for Jari Litmanen when they broke up, the team was without a doubt better than the individual players, that was serious chemistry

Im still so so on Berbatov, especially when Tevez gets on and does not stop working.

How bout the Deco Goal... Beautiful.. If I scored that I would retire from the game of football right after.
seriously? I think WE would have done better than Sunderland... I would have been able to crush Christiano once...

chemestry, friendship and a great coach. I met both Van Gaal and Litmanen on several occassions, and Van Gaal is nothing like the cranky guy you see in interviews, he is a very warm and funny personality. Jari on the other side is very quiet and shy.

My only saving grace at this point is that I am only 8 points from 5th place.

I followed them closely enough to have drawn those very conclusions, their personalities come through on field and technical area. My favorite Van Gaal moment was his high kick impersonation on the sideline, not bad for an old man in a suit! I still have it on VHS somewhere. Favorite Litmanen moment, too many to mention! No one I've seen can shape their body as quicky and precisely to receive a ball or strike it on the volley, his control of himself and technique was impressive.

speaking of Ajax, Ryan Babel had a loan request denied by liverpool.
skysports
I like Ryan Babel, but I think he needs some playing time, I would like to see he and keane up front with Torres injured. Let he, yossi B, and Dirk kuyt move around on the right wing, and up front for Dirk and Ryan. Speaking of yossi he says he needs more time, or he'll think about leaving..
Yossi Benayoun, who is one of my favorite players for how hard he plays, yet has foot skills *cough cough dirk* Don't get me wrong, I love dirk kuyt he plays hard, he leaves everything on the pitch, but Yossi plays just as hard and scores, see Blackburn match of the weekend, and the guy's got some pace

That is the trouble with any team in any sport that is loaded with talent. You have players who could start almost anywhere else riding the bench. Babel and Benayoun are prime examples.

Babel can be amazing but I think he would have been better of moving to Arsenal. Give him 2 years under Arsene Wenger and he is world class.

BTW he started today and scored the important equalizer

Oh my god. Babel's goal. Riera's goal. Keane's pass to N'Gog. N'Gog's goal. Wonderful.
