I went last year. Good show. The only thing I did not like was that a lot of it was Lip Sync. Great pyro show though.

Nope. Myles Reif performing arts center. I bought Tix at the door and got third row. It was the first show of their tour. Awesome show!

Saw them on their last tour where they were doing the "Love" album in its entirety. Good show, though there were some songs I would have liked to have heard for encores that they never got to.
Just picked up tickets for Slash at the Chicago HoB in February.

Managed to blag my way in to see Slash in Luxembourg this summer... OUTSTANDING! Will blow you away if you've not seen him yet! It's a billion times better than the Axl Rose Temper Tantrum Quintet.

I saw him twice with Velvet Revolver, Lumpy, but obviously the spotlight should be more on him at this show rather than Scott Weiland.
I had up front seats for the Guns'n'Roses show in Chicago in April 2002 that Axl decided to skip to avoid possible arrest on charges stemming from a riot he incited in St. Louis earlier on the tour.
:-)

Yeah, obviously it's a Slash show, but the guy he has/had singing for him, Myles Kennedy, is... well, I'll let you decide.

Did you hear about G'n'R at the Reading and Leeds festivals this year? Long story short, at Reading, Axl left instructions not to be woken if he was asleep, so no one woke him up for the set, they went on an hour late, got cut off. Axl blamed his road crew, and fired them all. Next day, at Leeds, he realised he didn't have time to hire a new crew, and was forced to re-hire all the crew he'd just fired. Tw@t.

Bad?
I am hoping for Chicago that maybe one of two of the people who sang on his latest solo album might have an appearance.....my votes would be for Chris Cornell and Lemmy.....or Fergie, if she shows up in a bikini.

Nah, Myles Kennedy is good!
The outfit Fergie wore in the Sweet Child video is... sparkly.

Have tickets for the Slash concert at the HoB in Chicago in February, and just scored some pre-sale tickets for the Chris Cornell acoustic show in Milwaukee in April.

Last one was Ozfest this summer with Motley Crue. Great show, but the best was the women walking around topless with the painted ta-tas.

Just saw the
Capital Steps today. Not sure if you can classify it as a concert, more a musical comedy show, but it was very humorous.
