I blame Dan's boy. O'fer 11 in the series with 6 K's. A great leadoff hitter, future HOF'er. :-)

Look in Washington, Strassburg has sold plenty of seats for their organization. Win or lose, if BC wants attendance up, put Chappy in the rotation.
Chapman in the rotation only works if he is pitching well. The problem I forsee is, when he gets a little worn down or later in the games when he starts getting tagged. No one comes to watch Homer Bailey, who is barely a decent AAA pitcher, and he was 'the next big thing' coming thru the organization at one point in time. :-)

That was the worst game of the year so far. When are the bats gonna wake up? I'm about sick of this already.

Stubbs bat did wake up. 1-14 in the series, 7K's :-)

The pitching was supposed to be the issue, unfortunately, they can't hit anything right now. :-)

More than decent pitching this year (despite some setbacks), but the offense just can't pull through in the long run. Ludwick hits a grand slam and we go to extra innings again? Wow...

Hopefully after the day off our bats will start to wake up.

Good series so far :-)

Stubbs does have 2 hits to raise his average almost 50 points in two games. Almost back to .200 :-)

You still want the bet that Stubbs won't hit .315?:-)

Today's notable fact: The win today against the Cubs was the Cincinnati Reds' 10,000th win.

Nice!

Nice!
Nice that the wind was 35 mph blowing in for 'Fly Ball' Bailey. Hopefully the series against the terrible Cubs will boost their confidence. :-)

I also found it odd and funny that Dusty claimed he was the manager of the Giants when they won their 10,000 game. Really, Dusty? :-)
