Can we PLEASE get a pitching staff??????
Why is it everyone else, including non-Met fans (i.e. all posters to this thread besides Mac
:-)) could see the off-season need for a starter EXCEPT Omar?

Who do they have to pitch in his place?

I would bring ANYONE up from Triple A or Double A for that matter. But as long as they are paying $ 12 million a year...Omar is gonna keep him in the rotation. Another reason Omar has got to go!!! Hell the long reliever Valdes has been pitching better than Ollie...give him a shot in the rotation.

Astros ace Roy Oswald has told his club that he is willing to waive his no-trade clause if Houston wants to move him this season.
Oh, wait . . . he said
IF they were to trade him to a contender. Nevermind.

I hear ya Ryan but...they haven't gone from first to last in such a quick time. We have the worst batting average in the league. WTF?????

This thread is great... a Mets fan (occassionally more than one), a couple of Phillies fans, a couple of Yankees fans and a chime in by any upcoming opposing team. And it's a 6 page long "Mets" banter !
:-)
(I changed my posts per page setting
:-))
Hang in there Mac! At least Pagan's ITP HR and triple play got your team on SportsCenter last night!
