This only hold true for the "popular bands/artists" of today. Trust me, there's great stuff out there if you actually have an open mind for it. I'll throw a few out there for you to try if you so wish: Frank Turner, Damion Suomi, Lagwagon, Bad Religion, The Weakerthans, The Draft, The Matches(stick to just the stuff off E. Von Dahl Killed the Locals)
