Very Good Beer! Similar In Profile To Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, But Somewhat Smoother!:-)

My daughter brought a couple of her friends over for a BBQ, generally BMC drinkers. I broke out a variety of beers to share, nothing fancy, but they seemed to enjoy the beers. Schell's Hefeweissen, my homebrewed cream ale, Deschutes Mirror Pond, Surly Bender, and Rogue Chocolate Stout. They really enjoyed the chocolate stout, comparing it to dessert. Who knows, maybe I opened a few eyes tonight to the wonderful variety of beers we have available.

That's awesome Warren and some great choices

Speaking of dessert beers, I am drinking Southern Tier Creme Brulee and WOW what a great brew. You have to be prepared that this tastes like it sounds. It is liquid candy.

It always bums me out that this beer is the most well traveled Vermont beer. Magic Hat makes some great beers, but this is not even close to their best (or worst). I always get a kick out of walking into a bar when I am traveling for work and seeing this on tap at a higher price than better local micro-brews just because it traveled farther.

Reason for tirade, Magic Hat Blind Faith in hand right now:-)

Keepin' it simple! Coors Light or a Blue Moon will do me just fine. Don't have any problem with some of the fancier craft beers, though.

Everyone has different tastes with beer and cigars.
