Speaking of Dunn, he's about to set a new record, I believe:

.162 batting average, 160 strikeouts
Needs to more Ks for his strikeout number to be higher than his batting average.:-)

I think that might be a first (not sure) for a guy who has had enough at bats to contend for a batting title.

Speaking of strikeouts, Stubbs is only 10 away from 200. Not bad for a guy who is supposed to be a leadoff hitter vs. a guy who is supposed to be a power hitter. Maybe Dusty will sit him down the stretch to keep him from making it to 200. :-)

Possible good news for Cubs fans. They may possibly be interested in Walt Jocketty for their GM next year. He hasn't done much for the Reds, but he's got a decent track record when working with teams who can pony up some cash (Cardinals).
