I did not. I had to work late and then I watched some football. How was it?

Over 500 ft. First to ever go over the Moon Deck.
I'm not big on the guy personally, but that was a helluva hit.

It was stupid far. Apparently hit a tree and some of the security officers found it in the street. Didn't make it to the river like Adam Dunn's 500+ footer did a few years back.

Speaking of Dunn, he's about to set a new record, I believe:
.162 batting average, 160 strikeouts
Needs to more Ks for his strikeout number to be higher than his batting average.
:-)
I think that might be a first (not sure) for a guy who has had enough at bats to contend for a batting title.

Speaking of strikeouts, Stubbs is only 10 away from 200. Not bad for a guy who is supposed to be a leadoff hitter vs. a guy who is supposed to be a power hitter. Maybe Dusty will sit him down the stretch to keep him from making it to 200.

Would be 2nd time. I think Rob Deer was the 1st and only.

Rob Deer and Mark Reynolds were both close, but both had a slightly higher average.

Just trying to cement a 3rd place finish as the defending division champs.

One of two divisions in the Majors they could win. The other one, the Reds play in.

I was hoping we would at least make it back to above .500, so we could at least say we had back to back winning seasons for once, but it looks like that's not gonna happen either.

Possible good news for Cubs fans. They may possibly be interested in Walt Jocketty for their GM next year. He hasn't done much for the Reds, but he's got a decent track record when working with teams who can pony up some cash (Cardinals).
