That should bring the Phillies back down to earth! Looks liking Jimmy "Nostradamus" Rollins was wrong. Go Yankees!

Yankees win!!!

So....we can say adios to the Phillies in 4.
We can say adios to the Phillies in 5.
Next, lets say adios to the Phillies in 6 tomorrow.

Seems like the Yankees bullpen showed up for the game whereas the Phillies didn't.

What a shocker to Phillies fans. The Phillies are human. Go figure.

This was a big game. It takes away the homefield advantage the Phillies obtained with the win in game 1.

Huge win for the Yankees.
CC should be good tomorrow too.
We may go back to NYC up 3-2 which would be sweet.

Go Bombers

Classic Yankees baseball with everyone stepping up.

Did you guys hear Jeter on the audio clip joking about how they're gonna have to listen to Andy Petit brag all year about his hit?:-)

Still a lot of baseball to be played, but like game 2 was a must win for the Yanks, I would have to say tonight is a must win for Philly.

CC is seeking redemption and A-Rod may have woken up, so I like the Yankees in 6.

Pete,
How amazing was that with Petit?
I was listening to the game on the radio while on the way back home and when he came up to bat, I told my wife, that is out number 2.
He gets a hit and drives in a run to help his own cause. An AL pitcher that mostly sees the bat when being swung at one of his pitches.
That was neat!!!

I can't remember the game, but remember seeing Petit putting one over the left field wall.

I wouldn't put him in as a DH, but he showed he can hit the ball.

Couldn't agree more.
However, the pressure has shifted from that of game two.
All the pressure is now on Phillie to win.
If the Yankees win, the Phillies will be a fork away from being done.

After watching Boston come back down 3 games to the Yankees a few years ago, I'm very slow to call a series over until the final out of the 9th inning of the 4th win.

Just the same, I'm still picking the Yankees and put my 5er on them.

Indeed. I don't expect Philly to roll over and die and hope to see the series carry on a bit more so we can celebrate number 27 at home.

If Howard doesn't get out of his funk soon, things will be tough. I know he strikes out a lot, but damn!

Three more Ks and he owns the all time record for strikeouts in the WS.
