Made it through 39 seconds before I was becoming clinically depressed.

Back around 1980, when I was working Midtown, I ran an errand near Rockefeller Center and saw Stevie Wonder by the skating rink.
He didn't see me, though.

My favorite album released last year. Debut album from these guys out of Atlanta and it seriously smokes. If you like heavy metal there is zero chance you wont like this...

Perfect for today...sort of. Insanely catchy song from the Swedish power metal band Sabaton. Almost all of their songs deal with war and battles. This one is no different. This is about Alvin York and the 82nd Airborne so if you like history, power metal, American hero stories or just songs that are catchy as hell, you will enjoy this...if this chorus does not get stuck in your head I will be shocked...lol

New album from Testament that came out a couple months back. Probably their best overall album in a decade. The drum work on this is awe inspiring.

Have to go a little lighter after the Testament album so followed it up with Avantasia - Ghostlights. This song is so damn catchy...hell the whole album actually is.

Though a fan of rock and some Metal, I feel like a little funky balance is needed.
Thus, I give you one of the greatest funk riffs of all time. Not to mention some of the best screams. I don't know Karate, but I know Ka-razor.

Got a couple James Brown albums in my collection...
:-)
Im not all about metal (95% but not all...lol). Here is proof. In my personal opinion this is the best live album ever recorded. Dire Straits-Alchemy Live and this is the standout track, Sultans of Swing. I believe there are people that listen to music and people that HEAR music. This song is my test for people...if the guitar is speaking to you here, then you can HEAR music.

Good stuff, Christian, I was a big fan of Dire Straits back in the day.
:-)
Now post your Smokey, Stevie, Gladys and Aretha albums and I'll be happy.
