Dark movie, Cage was great in it......made me remember why I liked him before he became an action star.

CBGB. It's about . . . well, it sure as hell ain't about Country, Blue Grass, and Blues.
:-)
I was even in that place once, back about '77 or so. It was a &uckin' $#!+hole, and this flick does a good job of showing that aspect. I must confess I was never much a fan of punk, though I did like a lot of stuff from the likes of Talking Heads and The Police, and Blondie and Patti Smith did some good songs too. But mainly I felt, in the immortal words of Joey Ramone, "I can't believe we got a record contract. We suck!"
:-)
The movie is decent. It is worth 90 minutes of your life, if the topic interests you.

I seen this, I wasn't crazy about the comic book style they portrayed, but it was a decent flick, the guys who played the Ramones were great, and they should finally make a movie about the Ramones With those dudes.......I hear there is talks with Scorsese doing it.

White House Down. Wow, and I thought Olympus Has Fallen was dumb. The best thing about it was the Stones' "Street Fighting Man" playing over the end credits.

After Life. I wish I could tell you what it was about, but I still don't know if Liam Neeson's character was some mystic medium who talked to the dead or just another psycho serial killer. Yet any flick with Christina Ricci running about naked for significant segments is worth at least one thumbs-up.
Sorry . . . that's not my thumb.

I hope you've caught up on the latest two, movie won't make as much sense without them.

No fear there. The LOTR & Hobbit movies have always seemed to come out around my husband's birthday and he has insisted tickets and popcorn were his birthday gift.
:-) This year is no different. I told him it was a good thing I was a fan of the movies as well.

The Equalizer - Not bad it's about what you think it's about, D. Washington kicking a while bunch of ass.
Edit: Oh and it was filmed in Boston so it was cool seeing all the places I've been and a few of the buildings I've worked in such as the Pru, Boston Harbor Hotel, Long Wharf... yadda yadda yadda
