John Grisham - Sychamore Row.
Bogged down halfway through - no real intrigue

Blah - hope it picks up

It's a masterpiece - but requires patience to keep with all the characters.
I haven't revisited since the movies, so might be easier to follow who's who.

Read them years ago and just started them again Friday, I've killed a couple entire days till I couldn't focus my eyes reading the first book. Thankfully it's been so long I forgot a lot of what happens, so it's like reading it for the first time, yet having a few clues before going in.

I do recall a couple of the books being rather slow and uninteresting, hopefully this time around it will be different.

I'm reading Edgar Rice Burroughs Barsoom series; I'm on book 3, The Warlord of Mars. Lots of action, adventure, and old fashioned fun. Just what this old fart needs! :-)

I'm reading the Wool series. Finished 'Wool' a few days ago and am about 1/3 of the way through 'Shift'. I already have 'Dust' on the Kindle so when I finish 'Shift' I can start right in on it.

You should feel sheepish making a joke like that.

I've been reading Eckhart Tolle for a while now. It's become my bathroom reading. Have not.read it (The Power of Now) cover to cover. I just flip to a page and start reading. It's almost bible-ish. Not in the sense of the origin of the words, but every time.I open it to a random page, it's exactly what I need to hear at that moment.

The Iron Druid Chronicles by Kevin Hearne. Really getting a good laugh out of the series. He's the last Druid and he's living in Tempe Arizona running a bookstore. We have Irish gods, vampires, werewolves and a talking wolfhound. :-)
