Avatar in Blueray - The ONLY way to watch that movie. Gotta love 1080p. And the movie was pretty good too.

It made me smile in so many ways. I loved the lead character in particular, the
blond kid, Oskar. He would get these looks on his face like he just peed in his pants or in the pool.
He would look into space and this relaxed and dreamy look would come across his face.
Everything about this movie had some kind of appeal to it. I think it was incredibly well made.
Not sure if you knew this going in, but in the scene where Oskar sees the vampires crotch, it was
to illustrate a part of the book that was not explained in the movie, and that was the vamp-kid
was a castrated boy. It did not change or improve the way the story was told in the film.
Nor would it have been helpful to explain the books telling of the relationship between the old man
and the vampire-kid. Read about it online to see what I mean.

Whatever Works
Didn't agree politically with it, but it was an entertaining film. Larry David is always hilarious.

Kick Ass. The only bad thing I have to say is that I didn't like Nick Cage as Big Daddy. He was not good at trying to act like he was a bad actor. There were a few moments where he was ok but overall, a bad casting choice. :-)

Clash of The Titans. Another remake of a cult classic. Well, sorta. They took alot of liberties from the original story. Alot. C'mon on, a cameo of Bubo the Owl? I hate these remade movies! They are very rarely any better and in most cases worse than the original. :-)

Bend it like Beckham on REGULAR TV. No probs, I was working on my computer so I just watched
until the commercials, tinkered on the computer, watched when it came back and repeat ad nausaeum.
The movie was not bad at all. I love culture clash movies.

Passengers. Dull until the ending upped it to a passing grade.
Lakeview Terrace. Entertaining.
