I like Angels Envy but for the price point and low proof, I’d rather have OF 1920 or OE 7, I’ve been thinking about pulling the trigger on Angels Envy Rum cask finished Rye but that’s slightly outta my price range even for a special occasion pour. Anyone here ever try their Rye?

Oh and a side note I finally tried OGD114 at a restaurant and wow it lived up to the hype for bang for your buck, I definitely see me alternating that and WT101 as my everyday pours!!

Gabe, I didn't like Angel's Envy bourbon so I never gave their rye a try. AE was just another finished whiskey on my road to realize I basically don't like finished whiskey. MWND is to date the lone exception.
And please, whatever you do, do not buy any finished Basil Hayden products. Their Dark Rye was my very first drain pour.

For the price point, OGD114 is a sleeper!

How does one post a pic to the thread from an I phone?

I use imgur.com, a hosting site. No clue how to post directly from an iPhone, Charlie, and I own 1/11th of the joint.
:-) :-)
Newest addition, 17 year SiB pick from a store that gets raves about their picks. Oink 2021.

Nice pickup! Plenty of opportunity for a little (or a lot) winter warmer over the frigid weekend coming up.

must... not... buy... whistlepigs...
man that stuff is good, glad I don't have a lot of shops around here pushing high aged picks or I'd probably have a lot more of them. I grabbed about 5 more teen KC picks over the last few weeks for the bunker, looking forward to the day they get more expensive so I can say "eh that's not worth it" but that day hasn't come yet

So much goodness here......
:-)
Jay, I was drinking a lot in the summer too.
:-) Not much to do in the evenings...no concerts, no sporting events, no bars (for me anyway) what else but to sit at home with a cigar and a bourbon. I look at March 11 last year as the beginning of the "lockdown". On March 11 this year I'll post a pic of my empties for far.
Ben, can't go wrong with the KC picks. I even grabbed another 9 year pick because they're just a little less good. Sitting on 6 or 7 15 year picks, might have to try for double digits.
:-)
Damn, Lenny, the 750 Elijah Craig is like $25 around here. Ouch. But maybe $49 Canadian is around $25 USC?
:-)
Rob, you've made this young man very proud.

It's around $29-$35 around here. I don't mind paying that at all.

Even better is if any stores near you do any single barrel store picks. I have one picked by a local group that blows the regular release out the door.
