:-) funny you should say that Brad.
Her first trip out it was either the tip of the board or a fin that got her chin.

Gah! Vintage 35mm cameras are calling out to me! Gah! Pentax K1000 or Canon AE-1 Program.
:-)

That's a concept I had to work through recently as well. My first response was an easy Pentax win.
But the more I thought about how huge the AE-1 was when it came out, the more I was led around
to that direction. It was the K-100 killer for sure. It was a battle for the top spot. If I was you,
I would go Canon, since that's what I know you want. If I was choosing on perfection, simplicity
and current price against the AE-1, I'd take the Pentax. Mostly I would hold onto what I had and not
try to buy more gear. Focus on making your gear work for you. You don't have crap, you have nice stuff.

You mean this is the one you got this week. I can NEARLY guarantee that you will still get one of those other two
before summer is over.

Yeh that's the one. It's awesome. I'm excited about the CLC metering.

I loved my K1000. What sucks is I cannot for the life of me find any of the old photos or negatives from when I used that camera.... of course back then I didn't really know any better and usually took my film to K-Mart or Meijer to be processed.

A Douglas DC-3 airplane. I shot this with my D90 at 3200 ISO. Not bad!
