Great movie. I wish more people would take the time to watch it.

Watched Inglorious Basterds and Paranormal Activity this weekend. Both were a bit of a let down. I didn't expect much from Paranormal Activity, but it was below my already low expectation. I had high hopes for Inglorious Basterds as I'm a big Quentin Tarantino fan. It was a decent movie I just expected more I suppose.

I thought Street Kings was OK. However a lot like the movie Edge of Darkness, I felt like I'd seen it a dozen times before just with different people. Overall, I liked Keanu and Forrest's roles.

Not awful for me, just meh. I liked the actors in the movie, just thought it was predictable, and at times far fetched.

Lol, well... I watched it online, so the quality was chit, but the movie was kinda fun for being imho "the kid/adolescent friendly Clash of The Titans".
Id go see Clash of the titans however, it was better.

"Let the Right One In", a Swedish subtitled movie with a 12 year old Vampire becoming friends
with a 12 year old boy that gets bullied at school. Subtitles can be a pain sometimes, but this
is really good. See it before the American remake butchers it. It is cool in alot of ways. The kid
sucks on this one lady, but she lives and begins to become a vampire herself. She walks in
this dude's house that has about a dozen cats and they all attack her at once, wicked. The setting
of cold-a$$ Sweden and the darkness where the vampire lives and the typical cold clime depression
complete with alcohol really combines to make this a dark and moody piece of film.

I liked that movie too, a refreshingly dark and original take on the vampire genre, which is getting incredibly played out at the moment.
I watched Black Dynamite last night. It was EPIC. Need I say more than kung-fu pimps and Richard Nixon with nunchaku? A glorius send up of 70's blaxploitation and kung fu movies.
