Top Right: Sig Tacops 226 9mm 20+1
Top Left: Beretta PX4 .45 9+1
Bottom Right: Beretta 92G 11+1
Bottom Left: Sig Mosquito 10+1 for the money this is a great target and training weapon. Just run it wet with CCI Super to avoid mis-feeds.

One of the only handguns I don't have that I want. That and a Sig 210. :-)

My first (and only) firearm is a Remington 870 12 gauge. Basic, plain jane, nothing fancy, fun thing to go destroy clay pigeons with my teenagers with.

You chose wisely.

I've got me one of those. Two things -1) I could hide it in a matchbook with no problems. 2) I can get that to hit a pretty small pattern at a reasonable distance. Liking your choice.

Anybody try these grip extensions? I think I would trade the extra size for better grip in a second.

I ordered the extensions directly from Ruger.
You need to remove old one and replace with these but easy and quick to do.
Paid $15 for three, $21 with shipping.

Once I get my concealed permit in a month or two, going to get this Uncle George wallet holster. Very neat for front or back pockets.

Anyone familiar with this?
With grandchildren, can't simply leave it loaded in a drawer for home protection.
Figured this will do the trick in giving me quickest access possible while maintaining total safety for grandkids.

I just got the GunVault which is just as practical with a spring loaded door. I appreciate that it conceals the gun making it less of a invitation to "explore" it. Here's a link.

I was looking at those also.
Does it feel secure or can a creative kid pry it with a screwdriver?
I Really like the idea of biometrics on it as opposed to combinations.
Ender 12:58 PM 01-28-2012
It's very secure and hefty. I doubt if anyone can pry it open. Personally, I wouldn't like it visible when ANYONE is over much less kids. Being visible just begs for unwanted attention.:-)

Agree.
Love the idea of the top opening with biometric.
Glad to hear it is strong.
Prefer that route in my large nightable drawer, out of sight but accessible.
Thanks.
On my hit list for next month.

You think I can fit a Sigma 9mm or a Glock 40 in this one?
