Just finished Vol. 3 of Proust, and have started Cities Of The Plain . . . though how the translator got that from Marcel's title, Sodome et Gomorrhe, I'll never know. :-)

Just finished an oldie but a goodie: Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. I've picked it up and read a little bit of it several times over the past decade, but never committed to reading it from cover to cover. What an amazing read, and very thought provoking. But, not an easy book to read. Anyone else who's read it will understand why...

While waiting in line today for Free Comic Book Day (yeah, I'm one of THOSE :-)), I killed some time by tackling something that's a harder read than Proust #4:

Rocket Ship Galileo - Robert A. Heinlein

To add that tiny bit of appropriate authenticity to the experience, I chose a 50-year old Ace paperback reprint, cover price of 95 cents. :-)

Re-reading The Road by Cormac McCarthy for about the 6th time. Just a great read. Movie sucked by comparison but to me this book is one of the best.
