Cost $10. There's ways to do it for free I think, but it was easy to do this way.

A windows option. I did it the hard way (had to copy certain files to certain locations,) but this looks much easier. AirPrint through windows

If your buying a new priner anyways, then I can see getting one AirPrint enabled. For me, I have a nice HP Color Laser printer that I paid a pretty penny for a few years ago. Still works great, so I don't really want to buy a new one. Plus I've never really liked inkjet printers. I always have problems with the jets if I don't use them often enough.
Awesome!!!

Will download it for $10.

Beats cost of new printer.

Has anyone tried to print wirelessly using an apple time capsule using iOS? Or does the printer itself need to be wireless?

I'm absolutely certain there has to be a network printer app that allows you to send stuff to your computer, then to your printer across the internet, just like all the remote control programs do. It's the same thing, basically.
Ya know, like to the web, then your desktop, then to your printer?

I'm not too familiar with a Time Capsule. It is basically a router?
I have my printer connected to my dsl modem/router via an ethernet cable. I print with no problems. I have a wifi printer I can print to as well. In my case the computer is sending the data to the printer.
I think as long as you can print from that computer to that printer, you can print to it from the iPad via AirPrint.
There is a trial on the software. Best to try to see if it works before you buy it.

iPad does print wirelessly on the D110.

OK. I got the iPad yesterday. Will the iPad2 dock allow me to bypass an electrical outlet? What I am trying to do is charge the iPad from my computer, and not use an electrical outlet.

Not sure.

You should be able to charge it that way via thecincluded USB.

I think this is a great deal.
The discount code ipadngravy just worked for me.
For $61 for the year, come what may come, it is covered.
Being a claims guy, I read the entire policy.
Very comprehensive all risk, worldwide coverage.

It will only charge via USB connection to the computer if 1) it is a newer USB 2 port (not older USB 1) and 2) the iPad is turned off. Even so it will charge much slower.

The USB port charges at a much lower rate than the 10 watt iPad charger.

Thanks for the info. What purpose does the dock serve then?
