Central Michigan is starting to sniff that top 25. Sadly it may be all for not when they travel to Boston College in two weekends. Hope they can pull off a nice win.

They're not getting much publicity or airtime but the U of Houston has a solid team. Ranked #17.

:-) Houston looks to have a pretty decent squad as well. That early win they got helped them get some early entries into the top 25

Man the Gopher game tonight was absurd. Still they pulled it out in the end. Up 14 in the first two minutes and looked in pretty good shape at the half and then things just got silly.

not gonna lie, it was awesome
tailgated with some guys from orangebloods.com the Texas rivals site, so that added to the experience
had plenty of beer, deer sausage, deer queso, etc and I got to meet several guys from that site, which I've been on since early 2004

Great whoppin' they put on Toledo.
Have you seen Case Keenum from UH? Nothin' against the Chippewas QB but this kid threw for over 500 yards and 3 TD's last week.......

Keenum is a good player. Lefevour is the active leader in nearly every QB statistical category in the country. He also holds records that few or no other QB has ever done (20 rushing and 20 passing TD's (Only Tebow) and 3000 yds passing and 1000 yds rushing (Only V. Young)) . Every week he increases his lead on all of them. At the end of the year he may very well end up the #2 QB statistically all-time.

:-) to the SEC last week! Proving our dominance once again.
Two of our .500 teams (South Carolina and Georgia) beat both teams that will be in the ACC championship (Clemson and Georgia Tech)
South Carolina 34 #18 Clemson 17
#1 Florida 37 Florida State 10
Georgia 30 #7 Georgia Tech 24
Also showed SEC depth w/"lower level" teams playing the big boys close:
Tennessee 30 Kentucky 24 (OT)
#15 LSU 33 Arkansas 30 (OT)
Mississippi State 41 #25 Ole Miss 27

WASHINGTON -- A House subcommittee approved legislation Wednesday aimed at forcing college football to switch to a playoff system to determine its national champion, over the objections of some lawmakers who said Congress has meatier targets to tackle.

I'm just gonna say, the government needs to stay out of COLLEGE FOOTBALL and use their time to say fix the job market, or the debt situation, the war, pollution, education, the healthcare crap... out of all these things that are HIGH priority, the House can take a break and talk about sports, what a lame excuse to not work
