Congrats to a great guy that I have loads of fun trying to beat in dominoes any chance I get.
Eric Espinosa and his partner Eddie Ortega were just rated 91 on their Cubao Robusto.
I have to agree with CA on this one. Love that cigar.
Turns out you don't always have to be a big advertiser on CA to earn a top score. E&O Brands (601/Cubao) does absolutely no advertising there.
The South Florida gang will just have to light a stick along with him on the 14th at Tobacco World as he too will be there.

Eddie Ortega was up at our shop in Dec. for a 601/Christmas party. Picked up some Cubao lanceros and split a box of Mi Barrio. After the event some of us went out for a drink with Eddie, great guy and great smokes!
Congrats on the score.

Just picked up some 601 reds. I've only seen videos about Eddie and the crew, but they looked like real down to earth people.
good for them.

That is one smoke that is on my NC "to try" short list.

601s are in my top 3 favorite line of NCs and the Cubao was a great addition!
Congrats

The Cubao #1 has become a daily cigar for me....I absolutely love the subtle oily spicy that sits right on the lips and numbs it just enough!

601 Green fan.
Love the Cubao (like a spicy Padron 5000) and trying to get my palate to pick up all Cubao's nuances. want to try the lance.
Would love to try the Mi Barrio, just cost a lot of $....

Frankly, I didn't mind smoking it but not a cigar I would buy again. I would much rather spend it on Cubao's or 601's. I found it to be a milder cigar.

The Cubaos are nice....the one complaint I have about them is that they leave my pallet a bit dry but that's probably just me. I love the 601 greens....maybe the strongest stick I enjoy. The LFDs are a bit much for me.

601 greens, blues, blacks and Cubao are probably my favorite nc's. Congrats to EO.
