Kicks major a$$! I posted a while ago about finding a piece of cloth or a cocoon in a LGC that I had been given from a friend (
http://www.cigarasylum.com/vb/showthread.php?t=5423). I also wrote to General Cigar to let them know that I had found this, to let them know of any QC issues. Well, they asked for my address to send me replacements. I sent them my address, with the reminder that I only had one cigar, and that replacements were not necessary, that I had just wanted to call their attention to a possible issue. Well, I look in the mail today and see a package...its a whole freaking box of LGC with a letter apologizing for any inconvenience that the issue may have caused. DAMN!! A WHOLE BOX?! Because 1 cigar had an issue that may or may not have been their fault? That is some great customer service. How cool is it to get bombed by a major manufacturer?
Got to sit down with my roommate to smoke one tonight and these things are pretty darn tasty, even ROTT. Opens with a nice spice and then mellows into some great leather. A winner, even at their normal price tag, but a super winner when you get a whole box for free. I am stoked to say the least. Money has been tight and the cigar budget has been $0 for the past several months and looks like it will stay that way for a while longer. This box really helps me out and made my day. Just thought I would share some great Customer Service with you guys. General Cigar seems to take care of its customers!
