Well, a Bay Area icon passed away. Bob Wilkins was host of "Creature Features" and also "Captain Cosmic" on KTVU Oakland throughout the 70s. He was a large part of my child hood and an avid cigar smoker. He will be missed.

He always used to have those obscure horror movies you never heard about. Many the 60's B&W classics. Creature Features was a part of my childhood as well. He always had a giant cigar and clouds of smoke around him. RIP Bob.

I'm sorry to hear of his passing too:-) I used to live in San Mateo from 71 through 77 and remember Bob and "Creature Features" very well. Always burning a stogie on his show. Sure does bring back alot of memories. Thank you Steve...
