General Discussion>Mac gopro issues

I recently made the switch from a PC to an I mac. I tried plugging my GoPro in and downloading the four videos I have on it and for some reason the computer recognizes it, says its downloading them, but then gives me an error message that they cannot be downloaded. Has anyone had this issue? I cannot really come up with a solution having looked online.

Also, does anyone know where I can get good tips on how to use a Mac and also where I could find MS Word without having to pay 50 bucks a year? Thanks

I usually just take out the memory chip and plug it into the drive on my MacBook Pro. That may help. I can usually find whatever I need by googling questions if I have Mac problems or you could probably go to your nearest Apple Store and they could help you. Not sure what you're looking for exactly.

You can download office which is word, PowerPoint, and excel from Amazon for $113 it looks to be a one time fee. :-)

I can't help you with your GoPro issue but with the purchase of your new Mac, you have 90 days of phone support. Use it.

Also, you can buy MS Office for Mac (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook) for $111 on Amazon. If you don't want to spend any money and you can live without the MS products, the Mac versions come with OS X (Pages, Numbers, and Keynote).

Also, www.pcclassesonline.com has a ton of great Mac tutorials, videos, and online classes - all free.
