Good evening everybody....

I have recently begun looking for vintage pipes (primarily from reading this forum.) my dad was a pipe smoker, and I really find myself enjoying cigars, but want to try a pipe. I found this ad on Craigslist here in DC and with my admitted lack of knowledge, thought I'd bring it here to the masters.... Do these pipes look functional? Is the price right? What am I missing? Thanks for helping a brother out.....

Though these pipes will work they are asking too much in their condition. In fully restored, reamed, buffed, cleaned shape they would be worth a little more than that

Thanks Patrick...I kinda figured that was the case. They look like 10 miles of bad road...

I suppose I'll keep looking. Maybe I'll find a score at an estate sale. Fingers crossed.
