Ok so I'm very new to this. What am I doing wrong. I bought a few Rocky Petel Freedoms about 2 months back and kept them in a small desktop humidor and then bought a few tonight. The ones I had have become much more firm then the ones I bought today. I did have a small problem where the humidity inside the humidor was to high but have brought it back down to 70% they still tasted great when I smoked them but I'm worried I am ruining them. Any help please.

Cigars are quite resilient, so I would not worry too much about short spikes or drops in humidity.

Also, many cigar retailers keep their cigars very wet (high humidity) so that they travel better. Let them sit in your humidor a bit and they should get better.

As long as they smoke good I wouldn't worry

Quick changes in RH tend to make cigars stiffen up.
In time, they'll relax.

Cigars don't respond as fast to humidity changes as we'd like. Keep patient and they will equal out.

But, if it lasts longer than 4 hours, consult a Dr. :-)
