Don't get me wrong - I love this town - great people, awesome neighbourhoods, great job.
Every now and then however, mother nature sends a little reminder.
37 below is cold in anyone's language....

That's why I moved to Florida from River Heights. Mom still there but snow and cold she just booked her winter trip. It is really early this year.

dvickery, 150 miles north of Edmonton at the oil shale projects for the winter, might laugh at this, but once below about 0F, cold is friggin cold.
Hope that it starts.

Don't they have garages up there?

While many locations may be warmer than Winnipeg, no other location has 'Kum Koon" restaurant
:-) That in itself is reason enough to stay put!

I'm wearing shorts and a Hawaiian shirt right now. I had to turn the air conditioner back on yesterday because we got up in the mid 70s. I must say that there is something wrong about raking leaves the same day that the a/c had to go back on.

I left up state New York over 30 years ago. It's no joke when you have to plug your car in so it would not freeze up over night.

Ah winter and drag up dust! Send them southern boys home! Brings me joy to see zero and below temps. Brings ice fishing and winter fun!! Here in WY all of our vehicles get plugged in. Garage or not.
