Thanks for all the great wishes/thoughts, gents. I had an amazing time out on an island to get some r&r and some music out.

It was one for the books, vin. I even started writing a new song while we were out there.
Everyone was around the campfire the last night out. Some new neighbors from Texas had just bought the cabin next to us. They brought their 2 younger daughters along to experience the "northwoods." So the sun started to.set, and we started a fire and invited them over for smores/marshmallows/and a good time. Then the instruments came out to play. We played for a good solid hour, but then we were drawing a blank on what to play next. I pulled some lyrics and chords straight out of the ether. The powers that be wouldn't let me keep the song though. It was just for that moment around the fire, and I can't really recall any lyrics. The only line in remember from it is "I ain't wasting no more time, cuz time won't wait on me."
After we were done, Greg (the new neighbor) looks over and says "pinch me. I have to be dreaming. No way that just happened." I took that as a sign that we played okay.
Can't wait for next year.
