Prelight: Hay, manure, dark tobacco
1st 1/3
Mild pepper, tingling on the lips, rich tobacco, great draw and lots of smoke.
Wrapper taste is hickory like, creamy leather notes and mixed spices on the peppery side.
Ash fell in my lap at 1 inch and how I hate this part of my love of cigars.
2nd 1/3
Burn line is slightly sloped but acceptable, all the 1st 1/3 notes are classically smoothing out with a more prominent aroma in the air of a rich cigar at a Polo match of the well to do.
The dominate note is a slightly sweet hot spice with the taste is hickory and creamy leather in the background.
Last 1/3
This cigar is a quality tobacco with its medium body with some cedar notes appearing and that tingling on the lips from the spice, coming on now are flavors of nuts and wood also.
Burn line self corrected and stayed cool throughout the session.
Cigar reminds me of when I was young and watched my overweight bald uncles smoke those H Upmann Churchill's of the past.
A fine medium body stick that I will smoke again but won't go out of my way to find in a hurry.
If the profile description for you is what you like I would get a few for your pleasure on a morning with coffee and the Sunday paper.
Smoke time: 1 hr
Score: 7 out of 10
