I think Athletes would get more respect off the court/field/whatever if they seemed to care like Durant does. I'm not saying if you don't donate that much you don't care, but a lot of Athletes don't seem to be willing to do something that great. Awesome gesture by Durant

Agreed or even just be better people. Not a huge NFL guy, NCCA football is my thing, but I gained so much respect the last game of the NFL season last year for Adrien Peterson at the end of the Vikings v Packers game when he was asked how it felt to come just 9 yards short of breaking Dickersons record. Paraphrasing "9 yards? Thats it? We came here to win to get into the playoffs and we did that today as a team." Selfless...he was not even paying attention to himself to get the record for himself but rather to get his team into the playoffs. That is the epitome IMO of professional conduct.
