Had the great pleasure of meeting him and watching a concert he did at New Bern High School in conjunction with Pepsi's 100th anniversary. Great entertainer.

Waylon Jennings, then Johnny Cash, now George Jones. Kenny Rogers and Willie Nelson are getting up there too, and Kris Kristofferson. Clint Eastwood looks like he could kick off any second, sad how many of my idols are bound to go in the next 5 or 10 years.
George Jones was coming to my town on tour, I was going to get tickets and take the wife. Time for a drink and a smoke.
