I am headed to Montego Bay Jamacia in mid May. I plan on taking a few sticks, but does anyone have any recommendations on where I can find some good smokes, as I know there are NO REAL CC sold there.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I would recommend bringing sticks with you as I am not sure where you can get authentic NC cigars in Jamaica...
(The only caveat is that you need to smoke everything -- bring back nothing -- if CBP finds any sticks on you the onus is on you to prove that they are not CC's, and even with banded NC's it is difficult to prove what they are or are not).
Just my

I agree, just bring enough to smoke, Howard....and have a great time!

Really enjoyed our visit to Jamaica. Brought my own sticks but ran out on our last full day there. So, I ventured into a little shop and bought a couple ... waste of time and money.
I will say that the local guy on the surf board at the beach had some "interesting" but excellent smokes. Don't try to bring any of that back either.
It was the coffee that made the biggest impression on me. Every morning, I'd grab a pot of coffee from the restaurant and take it to a nice quiet spot at the resort. Some of my best memories were sitting there enjoying that coffee with a good cigar while I watched the palm trees and the waves.
Can't wait to go back.

Brought my own when we went to Negril a few years ago but ran out as well.
Picked up a couple of 10-count boxes at the airport on the way home - Henry Morgan torps and Pride of Jamaica. One was decent and the other was OK, though it's been some time since I had them and can't remember which was which.
They did have a few recognizable brands at the airport, including Toranos, but the case of CCs were hideous fakes and the ones at the resort were even worse. Think they even had a few barber pole Fauxhibas for $25/stick.
I vote for bring your own, maybe a few more than you think you'll need, and you can always gift what's left to a cabbie or bellhop.

What everyone else said. While you'll surely be offered numerous smoking opportunities if you get out and about, there are
no decent cigars on the island. Unless you bring 'em.

FWIW, the LCdH site is now listing a location in Jamaica. I think it violates the rules of CA for me to post more information but you can go to the LCdH web site and check it out.
The caveat is that this web site is not always very current...
