This is on JoeCigar this morning. Wondered if it was worth it to bite or even bite twice. 29.99 is what Joe is asking.

At $3 a pop it's not a bad deal. Not the greatest either IMO.
I characterize the smokes as follows:
Padilla Miami - Great spicy smoke used to be VERY expensive ($15 or more for a lancero)
Padilla Obsidian - Basically a maduro version of the Achilles. If you have not had the Achilles, think of a weak DPG JJ.
Padilla '68 - Great smoke. A milder sweeter smoke. Some even claim that it tasted like a CC. They usually have blowout pricing on these throughout the year.
Padilla Habano - One of the lower lines of Padilla. A little harsh spice, but still a decent smoke. At $3 it's priced about right.
Padilla Achilles - Nice cigar. The new version I have been told is not up to par with the old version. A little milder and not so sweet.
As dunng said these are not Pepin anymore, so you have to take that into account.
