Anyone a fan of cheval? One of my favorite steaks. We made the most ridiculous fillet's last summer, like 12 oz each over hardwood charcoal and just amazing.
Not many talking about cheval as a meat.

I really enjoy Bestek a Chavel (beef steak topped with a fried egg), but horsemeat is not high on my list of things to try. I have eaten Elephant, Kudu, Springbok, Ostrich, water buffalo, Crocodile, Wilderbeest, Impala, gazelle, and once just missed Giraffe (I grew up in South Africa), Aligator, Elk, Dear, Goat, Beef (Veal), Lamb (mutton), bison, rattlesnake, chicken, duck, patridge, pigeon, game hen, f$ck, I will even through tofu in there, but dog, cat and horse wont ever be on my plate. That being said, I am not knocking it, I have eaten plenty of stuff others would scoff at, its just my take on the sacred 3.

When I lived in France that was the only red meat that I ate. Love the taste and texture.

Ooo Ooo! Please tell me where you get it, in Boston?
I worked with a lady who was stationed at Leavenworth. She said they sold in the PX and it was delicious. I'd love to try some.

Like I said, I dont knock people eating horse, but it is part of the trifecta (horse, dog and cat) that people either will or will not eat all or part of.

I think horse is banned in USA as a food. Have no idea where to buy it, but if you find out; let us know.
I usually have it in Switzerland as I go there every year. We grilled it with
The Salt Lick Dry Rub.

I think the horse is one of the most majestic animals, but so are cows and we do not think twice of eating them.

I usually bet on horses and not eat them. Not knocking it but I might have a hard time with that and I eat all sorts of wierd sh*t.
